Woman Wisdom® Training 1989:
A Magical Beginning
In the fall of 1989, in a gentle meadow, 14 women gathered together - drawn by unconscious forces that would reshape their lives.
Some came for healing. Some simply followed their intuition. Some came for professional resources. Others came to activate creative talents and still others came to discover their true purpose in life.
For nine months they met, journeying to the core of their female psyche and enjoying the bonds of deepening friendships forged through the transformational work they shared.
In the end, they learned far more than they had ever imagined,
and their lives were forever changed. Thus began the first
Woman Wisdom® training group.

Within a few years, we opened Heart of the Goddess, a women’s spirituality center and sanctuary for women’s healing, learning, celebration...and sacred shopping! This glorious hub thrived from 1992-2000. View multimedia tribute.
As time has passed, a strong community of graduates of Woman Wisdom® has formed, many of whom have become good friends and helped expand the vision of the work.
Several became teachers of Woman Wisdom®. Some helped co- create a graduate level program to seed future course offerings in women's empowerment. Others stepped forward to run a pilot program for middle school aged girls that would form the foundation for a girls empowerment series.
In the summer of 2004, Anne Strawbridge joined forces with us to dance the dreams awake.
Passionate about our global outreach, we began to ally with wise woman organizations with a common goal of restoring the links in women's wisdom and laying the foundation for world peace.
In the fall of 2004, we launched our first home study course: Women's Rites of Passage. We formed Everyday Magic for Girls® and began work on the Coming of Age and The Secret of the Rainbow projects as well as the Sacred Animal Wisdom home study course.
As if we weren’t busy enough, we re-opened Heart of the Goddess as an online boutique - full of unique gifts for goddeses of all ages - and went to Malta and Gozo with a group of 26 women to visit the glorious megalithic temples of the Goddess. View slide show.
Since then, we continue to adapt our Woman Wisdom® curriculum into multimedia home study courses, activity kits and circle leader materials
to empower women and girls globally. We are pleased to offer seasonal
celebrations for women and girls as well as the the full live training of
Woman Wisdom® in Chester County, PA. The 2009 and 2009-10 Woman
Wisdom® trainings
